Modernization has generally enhance the material level of Civilization throughout the world. But has it also enhanced the moral and cultural dimensions of civilization? In some respects, this appears to be the case. Slavery, torture, vicious abuse of individuals, have become less and less acceptable in the contemporary world. In this, however, simply the result of the impact of Western civilization on other cultures and hence will a moral reversion occur as Western power declines? Much evidence exists in the 1990s for the relevance of the "sheer chaos" paradigm of world affairs; a global breakdown of law and order, failed states and increasing arnachy in many parts of the world. A global crime wave, transnational mafias and drug cartels, increasing drug addiction in many societies, a general weakening of the family, a decline in trust and social solidarity in many countries, ethnic, religious and civilization's violence and rule by the gun prevalent in much of the world. In city after city, crime seems to be soaring and basic elements of civilization fading away.
The intensification of ethnic, racial and religious conflicts would cause a ramification of world politics into several interest groups, each with the protection of its own interests in the conflict as the cooperative foundation. (EG, Israelis and Americans)

Obviously, Director Steven Spielberg has done a wonderful job in duplicating the bloody scene of disastrous Normandy landing, and his culmination would never be forgotten. While showing the true facet of World War II, he has brought tremendous solace to his fellow Jewish origins; whose loss in this war is impeccable. The portrayed hero, Captain John Miller, with his intrepid, reticent and vigilant personalities bespeak the true soul of fatigued Allied soldiers in the war.
The scene at the small French town showed the different complexes of feelings from different perspective zoom-in of the eight main characters; nostalgia, anxiety, hatred and of course, intensive love and care for the family members. The timorous French soldier vividly illustrated the immaturity and the fear-of-cruelty of a dynamic youth whose time should be spent on jocularious things that he is adroit at. The war destroyed his future. A felon under the pretext of Third Reich started a plethora of avoidable tragedy that systematically eliminated one of the world's most intelligent yet hapless race furtively. While revising the history with apoplexy, it is pretty ironic that human kind never learns from its own mistakes, just as the fact that the blood-stained wars are still going on in many part of the world.

Sometimes, i dunno wad takes for a guy to be serious. I SERIOUSLY WANT TO RETAIN. When i said that to someone, they either give me that "WTF" face or laugh away as a joke. =.="". Ok. i will attest my statement here again. i have not planned to enter uni yet (especially those local ones). Firstly of all, i dun even noe wad course to take, i am ardent at null. Being capricious, those delectable courses juz dun seem attractive enough to seduce me. Secondly, my SAT score could get me into Ivy League in US, and being practical (or pragmatic), i will prefer US for sure.
Thirdly, i missed admission to US dis year coz the dealine cease at 1st Jan (for which my mum is still blaming me for being a retard, SORRY LAH). Fourthly, i need to upgrade myself in order to hav a mesmerized result that will finally end me up in top colleges. I am still not there yet. Sorry.
Reasons explained
Yours Truly

So the new year starts, wif my stomach filled wif Mc-delivery food. I wasnt jocularious, but ok, i am contended. Life goes as normal, nothing special, and the timorous me here remains unchanged. Kim asks me to be more optimisitic, but i am not capricious since the my first day. Well everybody around me is envisaging themselves holding the aced results, i was/am pointing the finger at myself and decided to back out like a loser. I ma not quixotic, juz the fact that i havnt been putting things into life, and so, i dun deserve the impunity like those aces do. I won't complain, coz i noe the trammelled me would burst out one day after the culminating anticipation. Screw life, that's not awesome!

We are forever sinful, but we always reject the idea and blame on non-spiritual subtances to bear the sins for us. Arrows and money, the two best example to illustrate my points are forever accused to be the source of eveil, source of crime. However, it is the double standard nature of the human beings; the incurable disease of soul that is creating these sins and creating the excuses for these sins. As Mr. Samuel Huntingtion illustated vividly in his book "Clash of Civilizations", hypocrisy, double standards, and "but nots" are the price of universalist pretensions. Democracy is promoted but not if it brings Islamic fundamentalists to power; nonproliferation is preached for Iran and Iraq but not for Israel; free trade is the elixir of economic growth but not for agriculture; human rights are an issue with China but not with Saudi Arabia; aggrssions against oil-owning Kuwaitis is massively repulsed but not against non-oil-owning Bosnians.
From individual level, we classify human kinds into rich and poor, ill and healthy, "kind" and "evil" according to our own measurements through self-standardisation. We treated them differently and adjust apporiately according to times. It is the same reason that behind the accusion of money as the root of evil. When we are contented with the ease brought by the paper currency, we praised its effective uses and even the creators of money. However when we find that we sinned sometimes as money acting the indirect intermediate, this kind of vis-a-vis will eventually result in the curse of money and classifying money as root of evil while sucking up to it. It is the reality of double standards that we fail to recognize.

Tmr is the day, the day that i hav been waiting for such a long time, and today is the day, that i found myself hesitating to come to the fact that i am graduating tmr.
I hav told myself that i dun hav to get up at 5.55am every morning to make sure that i get to school on time. I dun hav to wear the same uniform again and again. I dun hav to visit the infamous tpjc canteen for a quick bite.
But i found that i will miss the dudes, miss the two teachers there (namely Mr. Au and Ms. Ng), miss the time when Mr. Edward Chew put me down to CW for not tucking in the shirt, miss the time when i composed songs on bus, and miss the time when Mrs Mei Chiew talk non-stop about non-GP stuff during GP lessons, miss the time when Mr. Chow writes non-stop on the whiteboard without uttering a word, miss the time when Mdm. Hana cried, and miss the time when i slept lyk a log on the bus.
